Some thoughts on religious life and priesthood

Ziggy Agocsi
To my knowledge, please, correct me, if I am wrong, the RCC never made celibacy into canon law but bullied deacons, who wanted to be ordained as priests into the vow, as they know only too well that it is not Christ's instruction (1 Tim 3 is very clear), so there is not even the need to change any law. - But we have arrived at a time, where everybody devoting themselves to religious life should ask themselves, whether they would still do so, if they were not on any payroll and if they were persecuted. Those, who desert the Anglo-Catholic and defect to the RCC right now take the easiest route out and should have it in the first place discussed with their fellow clergy and flock, for which they have a responsibility. And where were their voices to be heard loudly enough to defend the Holy Eucharist and the Apostolic succession?! And to those females, who think they have a right to be ordained as priest and bishops I ask this question: If you truly believe in the mystery of Christ's sacrament as the memorial of His passion and in the transformation of His body and blood, then how can you even contemplate of desiring ordination or any role in the sanctuary? We women have numerous important roles to fulfill in Christ's spiritual church but priesthood and being a bishop is not one of them, as He entrusted the blessing of the gifts of the bread and wine to the male apostles as He was a man.
What is so difficult about this to understand? This is not a case of sexual equality - it is about the commandment and sacrament that Christ entrusted to His male apostles at the last supper. No more, no less. And Mary Magdalene also accepted this and never desired any other role than that she had been chosen for by God and and by Jesus. I am extremely saddened at how much Christ's spiritual church has been sold out for all sorts of reasons, none of them at all selfless or for the highest good of any soul or for His heavenly kingdom on earth as only Christ is the truth, the way and the life. And, thanks be to God, I am on the payroll of God, without expecting to own a penny to myself.
But I pray that all the faithful one day may be one in unity in Christ's church just being content with living in His most blessed sacrament and sharing all their spiritual gifts that they have received freely to share with others for free, including the gift of priesthood.
After all - we do not want a new Elizabethan age, do we now?! After all the triumphs of  education, enlightenment, communication and transparency and accountability - all leaders of the churches have been entrusted with the pastoral care of their flock in Jesus' Name and only He provides the answers as He is the way, the truth and the life. But that seems to have been long forgotten by those, who do show contempt for Christ's spiritual church and only shrug their shoulders at only the  mention of it - as if it were a mere phantasy...
Do not forget: Jesus is risen indeed. Alleluia. And He holds the book of life alone and He is right now watching all of us and He will us take to task on every single word and action and deed. God bless you!

God bless you!
