Little Steps: The Joys of learning Greek and Hebrew, Chi & Aleph

This journey to being able one day to read the scriptures in Greek and in Hebrew and next I would like to add Aramaic, is evermore intrinsic as it is deepening with every single sound. Just in one sound is so much to absorb and Our Lord shares so much, when we only care to listen to His voice. As with everything that we are being led to discover, if we leave the selection and content of what to focus on to Jesus, He will let us discover, what He needs us to know at that moment of time. When f.ex. rereading my old notes I start only now to comprehend that the words and dreams have indeed come to life, which I did not understand at all at the time. And the same applies to everything that I am learning or experiencing or being given in my life, one big adventure and miracle every day anew.

So, I went to sleep last night and woke up with an image of Our Lord and King and God on the cross in an ancient icon. Suddenly the in the centre of the cross came into being the 'X' - and I saw the shapes of the Greek and Hebrew letters chi and aleph melt into each other. Like with sigma and samech they are drawn like mirrors.

I hope you might one day make your own journey into the epicentre of the living word in the complete original scriptures. Every day I get a step closer by God's grace and mercy, and it is always to the Infinite light, shining evermore bright.

God bless you!
